New Child Safety Product Helps Reunite Lost Kids and Parents

Chicago, IL- In a large crowd (e.g., a major sporting event, the shopping mall, an amusement park, the beach, etc.), an accidental separation between parents (or chaperons) and children can, and too often does, occur. The Kid CallCard addresses this predicament in a new and simple way. The Kid CallCard is a waterproof, plastic card that lists the cell phone numbers of parents and relatives. Using the card along with a plan of action, a quick and safe reunion takes place. Without it, a lost child has no card, no cell phone numbers, and no plan.

The front side of the card is personalized with the logos of various “kid-friendly” companies so your child will actually want to carry the card. While the card can be simply placed in your child’s pocket, a small hole in the card provides for an optional neck lanyard attachment. (We carry custom-made, break-away lanyards designed specifically for the comfort and safety of a child.) The back side contains caller instructions, along with up to ten cell phone numbers of parents and relatives. (To alleviate privacy concerns, when worn with a lanyard, the names and phone numbers are intentionally printed “upside down”.) For Special Needs children, a notice identifying their condition is included after the child’s name. Simple and practical. That’s what The Kid CallCard is all about!
